Enter Actual Takings and Stocktake Date Procedure

Select Data from the Menu Bar by clicking on Data or by pressing the 'Alt' and 'D' keys simultaneously.

Select Takings from the Data Pull Down Menu by entering 'K'.

Enter the Actual Receipts figure since the last stocktake and press the Tab key.

Please Note that if you are using Sales Outlets you must enter the takings through the Outlets window (Set Up Sales Outlets) or during the stocktake analysis function Outlet Takings.

Enter today's date or the date you require to represent the

Current Stocktake Date and press the Tab key.

If there are no Allowances or Adjustments to be entered press the Enter / Return key, or click on the OK button, otherwise, continue with entering any Allowances and / or Adjustments.

Enter the Allowance Description and press the Tab key.

Enter the Allowance Value and press the Tab key.

Repeat the above step until all allowances have been entered or press the Tab key to move the cursor to the first Adjustment description.

If no adjustments are to be entered press the Enter / Return key or click on the OK button.

Click on the Adjustments Tab

Enter the Adjustment Description and press the Tab key.

Enter the Adjustment Value and press the Tab key.

Repeat the above steps until all adjustments have been entered. Press the Enter / Return key or click on the OK button to complete this procedure.
